It looks like
Erick Scarecrow has designed at least nine possible Dunnys for
Kidrobot and — we hope — submitted the characters to them. Pictured above is the "Reform School Patty" design which uses many of Scarecrow's most notable elements and looks fantastic. Am I the only one that would love to add that Dunny to my collection? I doubt it…

The above painting is a collaboration between
Buff Monster and
Oliver Hibert, made for the Hibert curated "
Vivid Visions" group show at the
Compound Gallery. The mixture of Buff Monster's iconic "Melty Misfit" with Hibert's cartoonish body is seamless and perfect, as well as a bit (pardon the pun) titillating. We're informed that this is one of two collaborations the duo did, so we can't wait to see the other!
"
Vivid Visions" opens on August 2nd with a reception from 7PM to 10PM and runs through September 2nd at the
Compound Gallery, 107 NW 5th Ave, Portland, OR 97209.
Participating Artists Include: Arbito, Buff Monster, Grant Wiggins, Martin Ontiveros, Pinky, Oliver Hibert, and Spencer Hibert.

Kidrobot Mascot is being issued as a 3-inch 'Bot in support of the 2012 Olympics. Dressed in ready to perform sweats complete with the gold medal (he knows he's going to win), each figure comes with a dumbbell accessory as well as a syringe marked "Juice" — which we're sure contain orange juice and not something more illicit. Limited to 2012 copies, these figures will be released on July 27th and retail for $14.95 each.

Not only has it been announced that
The Sucklord will be hosting the 2012
Designer Toy Awards ceremony on October 13th in New York City — during the same weekend as
New York Comic-Con — but as an exclusive for the event he will be releasing the above pictured "The Sucklord Host 2012" figure. As we'd previously (and correctly) guessed
HERE, the above pictured piece is a prototype of the one that will drop at the ceremony. Made in association with
Clutter Magazine, the price and quantity still remains a mystery…
