"Summer Sunset" Cavey... set to drop 06/07/2012
We teased you just a little bit HERE just a few days back with a very interesting shot from Holly aka A Little Stranger... but now we are revealing the full monty of this brand new "Summer Sunset" Cavey! Inspired by her favorite summer colors; Hot pink, purple, golden yellow, sand and a little bit of palm tree green, "Summer Sunset" Cavey is made from white cotton jersey, each one has been individually tie dyed by hand, so no two are alike! As well as having a completely one of a kind Cavey, Summer Sunset Cavey also comes with a hand tie dyed bag in shades of hot pink and Cavey purple. They are limited to 75 numbered pieces, and will retail for just £16 or $25 a piece! Oh, and just like all Cavey releases, these come with an enamel Cavey badge, and a special Cavey bag. They are set to drop HERE on Thursday June 7th at 12 PST... don't miss out!

Rsin's customs for 'Urban Decay 3' show... are RAD!
Check out these awesome pieces Rsin did for the upcoming Urban Decay 3 show... and holy crap do they look great together, that being said... if you got the cash, buy them all, hahaha!!!! Rsin spent the past 2 months getting ready for this show, and what he doesn't sell will be on its way to SDCC 2012. Rsin got ahold of some really cool platforms, mostly Munny's and Dunny's... and he tried some new techniques on them... I especially am digging those antler pieces, really cool! On display will be "Bree", "Sluggy", "Skip", "Saruwatari", "Ember", and "Killeen"... all of which look awesome! The show itself opens on June 1st with an artist talk, and then the big opening is June 2nd. Rsin mentions that he, as well as a few other artists, are talking from 5pm-6pm... then the the show kicks off with live music and live demos at 7pm. Don't miss this show folks!!!

INSA's Corset with NIKE & Sneakers with Kickers!
The design-based street artist INSA is lending his iconic embellishments to two new releases, shown above in their prototype forms: an Air Max 90 Corset by NIKE (left) and a pair of Kickers (right). While the sneakers are cool, I'm much more fascinated by the corset… it's such an amazing mash-up of the traditional design for the clothing piece, NIKE's typical style and INSA's flair.

World War II & Korea "Wolverine" war memorial custom by Stuart Witter
Check out this awesome commission that artist Stuart Witter made for super collector Kevin O'Brien. It's a piece dedicated to Kevin's grandpa who passed away a couple years back. Kevin tells us that he was an air force pilot and he fought in World War II and Korea... he was also from Michigan and a huge University of Michigan 'Wolverines' fan... hence the wolverine animal. The back of the design on the jacket is actually based on a real fighter jacket... what a cool memento! Kevin also mentions that even though Stuart did not have a photo of his g-pa, it's interesting how the piece turned out having a very similar resemblance. Not only do I love the work that Stuart does in general... this particular piece is awesome, as it has a much deeper meaning!

"My collection, that's me - my childhood, my friends, my heroes, my role models, what I enjoy, what moves me. Pictures from my journey: 'at home I'm a tourist"Selim Varol first caught my eye on Instagram, find TOYKIO now! His photo's were that of pieces that are on my most desirable list should anyone hand over infinite monies, a time capsule and endless possibilities. Ardabus Rubber's custom 8" Dunny for the "Most Wanted" show at 1AM Gallery!
We'd previously revealed this amazing custom 8" Dunny by Ardabus Rubber for the "Most Wanted: Behind The Hype" gallery show, but thought it might be worth doing a follow-up revealing "The Hierophant" a tad sideways… showing off his amazing sculpted arms. Beyond which, we're told the arms still articulate. Absolutely stunning work! And — surprisingly — it is still available for $350 from HERE.
"Most Wanted: Behind The Hype" (more information HERE) is already open and runs through June 10th at the 1AM Gallery, 1000 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94103. Participating artists are: RunDMB, Tim "timselF" Munz, Ryan the Wheelbarrow, Ardabus Rubber, JC Rivera, Grimsheep, Nikejerk, Artmymind, Gomi, Rsinart, Lickyourelbow, Pause, Chauskoskis, Uncle, Ian Ziobrowski, Matucha, Dr Befa, Chica Terremoto, Igor Ventura, Sergio Mancini, Luihz Unreal, Nevercrew, Hugh Rose, Carson Catlin, ClarkR, Muffinman, Lily Black, Megan "Me Smithy" Smithyman, Bubo, and Chris "We Become Monsters" Moore.

Davidkraig's magical custom Munny & Dunny set!
Davidkraig crafted this wonderful duo of a Magician and his Rabbit for a trade on Custom Toy Union (CTU) and, he even admits, that he ""had a hard time letting him go." Completely understandable considering how amazing these pieces turned out. The Magician was a 4" Mini Munny and the Rabbit a 3" Dunny, both heavily modified using super sculpey and then finished with acrylic paints.
The top hat — which as you can see is removable and allows the Rabbit various hiding spots — "was made out of some art canvas I had left over," Davidkraig tells us. And while the Magician is superb, I find the Rabbit to be the show stealer for me… such wonderful little details to make him feel completely real. While this piece isn't available, Davidkraig does have a couple of customs in his web shop and you can always contact him to inquire about a commission piece.

Luke Chueh x Munky King's "Target" figure for SDCC 2012!
We previously reported on this piece several months back, but now there's a bit more information… the Luke Chueh designed "Target" figure from Munky King will be making it's retail debut at San Diego Comic-Con. This 8" tall vinyl figure will feature a removable base, paint can & even brush and the box will feature the Chueh painting shown above. The SDCC 2012 release will be an exclusive "color variation with hand drawn wall graffiti by" Chueh himself. The regular edition will be released "a couple [of] months" after SDCC and Chueh teases that there might be "some surprises for the future." No word on pricing, but whatever the SDCC version with the hand-drawn graffiti is going for… it will totally be worth it!

When we previously announced the OMFG! (Outlandish Mini Figure Guys) Series 1 "Glow in the Dark" colorway, we had to digitally create an example of what they would look like… well no more! This is a packaging shot from the production plant of the final piece. For those that backed the Kickstarter campaign, your figures should be mailing in July (as they are currently taking a boat ride to the States). VISEone's custom Munny for "They Came From The Streets 2"!
As we initially assumed when we saw a teaser of VISEone's custom Munny for the upcoming "They Came From The Streets 2" group custom show, it's a 7" vinyl figure with a spray paint can breaking thru the top of his head. The paint oozing down was hinted at in the teaser and it is quite the nice touch on this "Overkill" design. I personally think the simplicity of the appearance makes it all the more striking, but I tend to be a minimalist.
"They Came From The Streets 2," organized by the guys of Urban Vinyl Daily, opens on June 1st at UNHeardof, 323 W 4th St., Cincinnati, OH 45202.
Contributing artists include: Frank Kozik, Scott Tolleson, Gary Ham, DrilOne, Eyeone, 64 Colors, ValleyDweller, Steve Talkowski, Rsin, Lunartik, VISEone, Task One, Luke Cheuh, THARP, Nerviswr3k, Ian Ziobrowski, Abe Lincoln JR., Scribe and Alisa Ross, Squink, A Little Stranger, JFury, Jon Chase, JC Rivera, Maxx242, Chase Tafoya, Chris Brett, Dez Einswell, Terribly Odd, Jason Gallo, and Cache.
