From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.

One of the many perks about doing this site is that I am constantly surprised by some of the email I get...and in a good way ;-) NemO, customizer extradoinare, has work with Toyqube sculpting there SHARKY toy and recently the HAMMERHEAD toy, and in turn also produced his first VIYNL piece ,THE HAREMONGOUS,(gladiator Bunny). NemO is a sculptor by profession, a Model builder , customizer, ect....and he sent over some awesome pics of his I.W.G. piece for the "HUMANS BEWARE" show, this coming Friday 4/10/09! He said that he only used the SKULL and rifle that were provided and that the body is completly made from scratch and sculpted out of MAGIC SCULPT. He also notes that being a SCULPTOR almost ALLof his customs have REsculpts to them. He also mentioned that he has a show with Brent Nolasco at Toyqube on July 10, so we all have something to look forward to from these super talented artists!

I am totally diggin the "Vato" version, and the Skull Sumo is amazing as well, I am really looking forward to seeing what others come up with, and more importantly I am looking forward to seeing this platform actually get produced! kaNO and Eric Nocella bring the ruckus for this super limited edition tinted moneygrip release, so limited that kaNO does not even own one! The tinted moneygrips will drop in red, blue, yellow, and green, and as some of you may know there was supposed to be a purple version, however the moneygrip mold broke so it's not happening.

The long awaited Son & Strawberry versions of To-Fu Molly finally launches with an autograph signing session by creators the DEVILROBOTS from Japan and KennysWork from Hong Kong. Held at the Liang Court Atrium (in Singapore) over a 2 day period, the event allows fans a rare chance to meet with their favourite toy designers.
The first of the To-Fu Molly figurines was released in 2008 to a roaring success. The overwhelming popularity of the To-Fu Molly Mother version prompted both designers to produce two (2) more designs – the Son & Strawberry versions.
By bringing internationally renowned artists from the industry to Singapore, Play Imaginative hopes this will help to promote the designer toy movement in Singapore. “The main aim is to create and cultivate a community of designer toy fans, and one way to do that is to give them something to be excited about. Meeting the creator of your favourite toy is a rare opportunity for local fans, and helping them achieve this is pretty exciting for us as toy lovers too,” said Mr. Jacky Teo, Business Development & Marketing Director at Play Imaginative.

Sjoerd Jorritsma, from the Netherlands, just sent me an email showcasing his new DIY figure! This is Z-KEN, a 'art based toy' from the Netherlands. Z-KEN is different than his vinyl-toy family, he's made outta wood! This is one of the mild graphic "Z's",the graphic's are going from mild to WILD! Some of the Z's are on there way to meet other artist to improve themselves, great! Now what can we expect?
There is no word on a release or price, but I will get the info up as soon as I find out!
