Mike Fudge × We Are Not Toys's Bear Bust Sculpture Teased!

With DesignerCon's weekend of artful fun just over a month away, it's no surprise that the teasers have already started to come in. Task One's We Are Not Toys collective will be in attendance this year with their own booth (#204) and they are pulling out all the stops to have an assortment of new works on display. Pictured above is a teaser of a Mike Fudge designed piece, based on his iconic bear character (pictured below) that was sculpted by Jordan DeVries (aka RISER13). The bust is currently covered in a reusable silicon paint mask, meaning that at least some painted detailing will be on the finished version, but we'll have to wait and see what it looks like… I really hope it has a floating fez hat component, held aloft by an acrylic rod, though nothing in the above teaser implies that is the case.
