The Cauldron Is Bubbling Again! Sofubi Cauldron 2 Takes Over Toy Art Gallery This Halloween!

Halloween afternoon in Hollywood is about to get wonderfully weird! Toy Art Gallery is bringing back SOFUBI CAULDRON for year two, packing the gallery with a fresh batch of creepy creatures, mutants, monsters, one-offs, exclusives, micro runs and early-bird releases for one seriously stacked Halloween pop-up. Sofubi Cauldron 2 happens Saturday, October 31 from 12PM to 4PM, giving collectors a few hours to raid the cauldron before heading out for Halloween night. Admission is FREE, everything is cash and carry, and judging from the lineup already shown... there is going to be a whole lot of spooky soft vinyl fighting for shelf space. The one-day event takes over Toy Art Gallery at 1515 Wilcox Ave in Hollywood, with the doors opening right at noon. And this isn’t just a regular gallery lineup with a Halloween sticker slapped on it. TAG is promising one-offs, exclusives, micro runs and loads of Halloween-themed toys, with a pretty stacked group of artists and toy makers contributing pieces for the show. The announced lineup includes: @barbarian_rage, @graveyardshifttoys, @milehighsofubi, @segundoseis, @webecomemonsters, @wondergoblin, @secrethandshaketoys, @lastresorttoys, @mimor.toys, @joseph_harmon, @skullseam and @sewerdungeonturtlecreeps... with even more expected in the mix.

The teaser images alone already look like somebody dumped an entire bucket of Halloween candy into a vat of radioactive sofubi. We’ve got mummies, pumpkin-headed weirdos, skeleton creatures, hooded axe-wielding monsters, translucent orange figures, bizarre television-headed beings and plenty of bright greens, purples, oranges and glow-ready colors running throughout the lineup. Basically... exactly the kind of stuff you want staring back at you from the shelf on Halloween night. And since these are exclusives, one-offs and micro runs, this is definitely one of those events where showing up early probably isn’t a bad idea.
