SMALLER DRAGON... BIGGER HUNT! Scott Tolleson’s Imperial Lotus Dragon Goes Blind Box for DesignerCon!
Oh man... Scott Tolleson is reaching back into his toy vault and bringing back one of his personal favorites in a completely new way! The IMPERIAL LOTUS DRAGON is returning, but this time @mrscotttolleson’s wonderfully detailed beast has been shrunk down into a brand-new resin blind box series, produced with Palmstreet and making its debut at DesignerCon Las Vegas on November 13, 2026.
Scott has called the Lotus Dragon one of his favorite vinyl releases from the past, so getting to revisit the character in this smaller format feels pretty fitting... especially when you see just how many different looks they managed to squeeze into this release. Standing approx 5" tall by 5" long, there will be 1,215 pieces total spread across 11 different designs, consisting of 6 common colorways and 5 chase designs. And judging from the pile of production shots we were sent... these things look GOOD!
Clear resin, milky white, translucent blues, smoky blacks, crazy candy colors, metallic-looking reds and some seriously fun mixed-color editions are all represented. The smaller scale doesn't seem to sacrifice any of the sculpt either... all those curls, horns, wings, scales, claws and ridiculous little details that make Imperial Lotus Dragon so recognizable are still packed in there.
Among the revealed editions are: Aqua Vanish, Apparition, Shadow, Bloom, Ice Storm, Sunstreak, Lotus, Charm and Ember, with additional chase surprises still waiting to be discovered. And because this is a blind box release... you know there has to be something extra hiding in there.
The collection includes 25 hand-embellished one-of-one pieces, including special chase creations from Scott and additional guest artists. Those guest artist details are still being kept under wraps, which makes cracking one of these boxes open at DesignerCon potentially a whole lot more interesting.
Scott himself says the Lotus colorway is his favorite of the bunch, and I can totally see why... that pink, turquoise and white combination looks killer on this sculpt. Each blind box will be $65, or collectors can grab a case of 6 for $360.
The Imperial Lotus Dragon resin blind boxes will debut through @palmstreetapp at DesignerCon Las Vegas, November 13–15, 2026, with the collection being offered exclusively through Palmstreet and at their booth during the show. Honestly, turning a larger established Scott Tolleson character into a smaller collectible format feels like a pretty perfect use of blind boxes. You can grab one and roll the dice... or start stacking little dragons all over the shelf.
And with 11 designs plus those hand-embellished chases floating around... I have a feeling a whole lot of boxes are getting ripped open at DCon. Follow @mrscotttolleson and @palmstreetapp for more reveals as DesignerCon gets closer.
