SPACE SKULLS & GRAFFITI CRITTERS! 5thTurtle and Revise D Bring Two Blind Box Series to DesignerCon Las Vegas!
Palmstreet and Plastic Pizza have some serious blind box goodness lined up for DesignerCon Las Vegas, with two very different artist-driven collections making their way to collectors starting November 13, 2026. We’ve got 5thTurtle’s From Earth, sending Dreamer and Deadpetal into the cosmos, along with Revise D x Plastic Pizza’s Tail & Feathers Series 2, bringing Le Raton and Beanie Birds back with more colors, more details and a whole lot of glow. Both collections will be available exclusively through Palmstreet, including at the Palmstreet booth during DesignerCon Las Vegas. Blind boxes are $65 each, with cases of six available for $360.
First up... @5thturtle is officially entering the blind box game! From Earth marks 5thTurtle’s first blind box collection and brings together two of his original characters, Dreamer and Deadpetal, for a strange little trip through space. The story has the pair traveling around the universe introducing themselves as being “From Earth,” with even the box art continuing the adventure. The six regular releases pair the two characters across three treatments: Q Astro Dreamer and Q Deadpetal, Sunburst Astro Dreamer and Sunburst Deadpetal, and Cosmos Astro Dreamer and Cosmos Deadpetal.
And these are looking seriously fun in the supplied production shots. Dreamer gets decked out like a chunky little skull-faced astronaut, complete with removable-looking helmet components, while Deadpetal takes that skull motif and plants it right in the middle of a flower-shaped character. That choice has a little extra meaning too... Deadpetal is a nod to Palmstreet’s beginnings as a marketplace for plants.
There will be 600 regular blind boxes, with each of the six designs limited to 100 pieces. Beyond those are another 60 artist limited-edition pieces, bringing the complete From Earth run to 660 pieces. The artist lineup for those special pieces includes HotActor, Revise D, Arman Kendrick and TJP, giving collectors some seriously interesting possibilities hiding among the release. 5thTurtle even teased his love for ultra-rare 1/1 pulls... so we’ll be watching closely to see what other surprises might be floating around out there. Another really cool element is how the figures have been broken down into different components. The collection incorporates magnetic and removable pieces along with glow-in-the-dark details, allowing the individual colorways to get treatments that go beyond just changing the paint. And if you’re wondering which one 5thTurtle himself would chase first... Cosmos Astro Dreamer gets the nod.
Then we jump from outer space straight into Revise D’s wonderfully weird world with TAIL & FEATHERS SERIES 2! @revise_D and Plastic Pizza are following up their first Tail & Feathers release by seriously expanding things this time around. Le Raton and Beanie Birds return with five treatments each, giving the regular collection a total of 10 different designs. The five themes are Hide & Seek, Heart Attack, Dirty Money, Ink’d and Sewer Ooze, and man... there’s a ton of variety packed into those names alone.
Hide & Seek goes into camo territory, Heart Attack brings the hot pink, Dirty Money gets decked out in slick black and gold, Ink’d strips things down into a killer black-and-white treatment, and Sewer Ooze takes the characters into translucent purple, blue and radioactive-looking territory. Revise D says this second collaboration was an opportunity to push the designs further both stylistically and technically, and the production photos definitely back that up. There are glow-in-the-dark details scattered throughout the release, along with specialty paint treatments and little production touches meant to reveal themselves when you actually have the toys in hand.
Each of the 10 regular variants has 200 pieces, creating 2,000 regular blind boxes, with another 200 artist limited-edition pieces bringing the overall Tail & Feathers Series 2 release to 2,200 pieces. Those artist releases will include guest collaborations and personally signed editions, although the complete guest artist lineup is still being kept under wraps for now. And judging from the supplied glow shots... the Ink’d and other glow-treated versions are going to be especially fun once the lights go out.
So which universe are you gambling on first... skull-faced astronauts and space flowers, or graffiti rats and bizarre little birds wearing beanies? From Earth and Tail & Feathers Series 2 debut beginning November 13 at DesignerCon Las Vegas, with both releases available exclusively through Palmstreet. Individual blind boxes are $65, or you can jump straight into the hunt with a case of six for $360. Time to start working on that DCon blind box budget.
