Leading up to the August 10th, 2013 exhibition opening of Clutter Galleries 'Custom RAAAR! Show' done in collaboration with Dynamite Rex, we will be seeing all kinds of previews of pieces for this show... and today we are getting a look Canadian based artist Angella Powell's "Fetch, Boy" piece, which by the way was one of the winners from Clutter's online design contest. This radically restructured RAAAR turned out awesome... and leaves me wondering how the heck it balances so well! I love all the textures and the use of bright vivid colors... an awesome looking custom, indeed! The Custom RAAAR! Show" is custom group exhibition that will open on Saturday, August 10th with a reception from 6-9PM local time at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508. Please join Clutter's Gallery Preview List for first option to buy pieces in the exhibition.
Check out the original sketch and design mock-up to the left... so good! The online contest was held from March until May of this year on Clutter Magazine's website, where they asked talented designers the world over to create their own RAAAR! on a turnaround template. Selected by Clutter and Dynamite Rex, the handful of winners got a chance to customize their creation for inclusion in this exhibition, and RX's awesome design was one of the ones selected... for obvious reasons, because it's rad!
