PARAMIQ TOYS Brings HIRUCO to Sofubi Art Gallery!

Who let these strange little laboratory experiments loose?! Japanese creator PARAMIQ TOYS is bringing its wonderfully unsettling HIRUCO character to Mexico through Sofubi Art Gallery, with the release scheduled to begin November 20, 2026. The character looks like a bizarre science experiment crossed with a mischievous little monster, complete with an exposed brain, unusual body textures, and a heart-like detail set into the chest. The gallery's promotional images showcase three very different treatments, from a cool turquoise standard version to a fiery gallery-exclusive colorway and a startlingly convincing wood-grain painted piece. These are some seriously eye-catching little creatures!

The gallery's announcement graphic labels the assortment as five standard-colorway pieces, four gallery-exclusive pieces, and one wood-grain painted piece. That makes ten figures shown across the three treatments, with the wood-look version appearing to be a single special piece. The standard figure mixes cyan-blue skin and contrasting organ details, the gallery version uses warm yellow-orange and red tones with blue-purple highlights, and the wood-grain interpretation transforms the sculpt into something that almost looks carved rather than cast.

HIRUCO's fictional origin involves a creature produced in a laboratory, and the character design embraces that peculiar backstory. The exposed brain and strange anatomical accents give the figure a playful horror quality while retaining the chunky silhouette that makes so many independent sofubi designs stand out.

The gallery plans to offer the figures beginning November 20, with regular gallery hours listed as Monday through Saturday, 1–8 p.m. Local availability, prices, and any mail-order arrangements should be checked directly with the gallery.
