FrankenFactory's tribal grey alien sculpture for Stranger Factory show!

We'd previously teased about Yosiell Lorenzo's "The Offering" for the upcoming Stranger Factory "Subterrane" group sculpture exhibit, and now we've been lucky enough to see one of Shea "FrankenFactory" Brittain's pieces for the same show. While she has not announced a title for the piece yet, the wrapped headdress, cloth skirt and stone necklace on leather strap all make me think of a tribal, possibly African, influence while the figure itself seems to be modeled more upon a grey alien than a normal human being. Any which way, I love the fact that the figure is playing cat's cradle with a real piece of string…

"Subterrane" is a group sculpture exhibit set to premiere in November 2012 at Stranger Factory, 109 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
