"Double Zero" Jura from Sam Griffiths...released!
Sam Griffiths Jura 'Double Zero' has finally been revealed and is up right now in his online store HERE! The Jura 'Double Zero' is an industrial bot, and this cool 5" tall by 6" wide hand made, hand painted, twelve part articulated resin figure is used for manual labor and heavy duty tasks onboard the invading mother ships, and as a ground support unit, loading ammo into larger machines and constructing forward ground bases. I love all the added embelishments to this figure, like the danger stickers, and the caution lines on the bright yellow body... by far my favorite Jura yet! Remember these are really limited so head on over HERE now and pick one up! Hit the jump for the entire backstory on this bot!
Jura "Double Zero" Backstory:
The Double Zero Units were created as all other Jura units, deep within the bowels of the invading mother ships. After being hunted and snared from the oceans of their home world, they were fitted with the gruesome mind control cones that make slaves of all Jura units.
At the start of their long suffering terms of service, all Jura units undergo a classification process. The more nimble and aggressive units are sent into the various arms of military service, whereas the less intelligent, gentle creatures are designated as worker drones. Often imprisoned within older, patched up power units, these Jura’s are put to use on the vast, dark, noisy industrial sectors of the mother ships. Huge expansive decks pressed up against the outer hulls and bulkheads, housing all of the running mechanisms and smaller planet voyage vehicles.
Jura Double Zero units have been said to be the forgotten backbone of the invading force, underpinning all systems and services on board the long voyage vessels.

Kidrobot x Swatch - Dunny/Watch collectors sets officially anounced with release dates and prices!
We just received a beautifully crafted press packet from Kidrobot as they have officially announced the launch of their monster collaboration with Swiss watch makers Swatch! We initially were the first to post up a few images of the collaboration but thought in light of future Dunny releases not to spoil the fun for collectors, so we stopped... until an image of the entire set popped up last month revealing the entire collectors case along with the massive 20" tall Kozik Dunny!
There will be eight models in the KIDROBOT FOR SWATCH COLLECTION available in Swatch stores and points of sale around the world, either separately, in which case each model comes with its complementary 3" Dunny for $70, or as part of a special Kidrobot limited and
num-bered edition of 300 sets. Each Kidrobot Special Set is comprised of the 8 Kidrobot watches in the collection which includes designs by: Gary Baseman, Tara McPherson, Tilt, Joe Ledbetter, Jeremyville, SSUR, MAD and Frank Kozik! Each watch in the set carries its limited edition number (001/300) and is presented in Special Packaging together with its corresponding Dunny along with the before mentioned 20" Kozik... this will retail for $1,500!!!
We also find out that Kidrobot will have their own limited edition Dunny/watch combo titled "Dunny Deluxe" which will be available exclusively on Kidrobot.com and at Kidrobt retail stores throughout the globe... this set will retail for $60! Now this has not been revealed, but we did some digging and found an all yellow Kozik Dunny (to the left) not pictured with the set along with an all white watch... so we assume this is the KR exclusive... but that is just our assumption. Talking to some of the artists involved, they are extremely happy with the outcome of these and say the quality on both the watch and Dunny is top notch! Look for all of this madness to drop August 18th in China, and September 1st worldwide!!!! Hit the jump to see all the watches along with their Dunny counterparts in full Hi-Res!

Huck Gee's Half-Skullhead teaser...
Earlier today Huck Gee posted to his Twitter account the picture you see above of a whole slew of rainbow colored half skullheads with the caption "Tease, tease, tease..." and immediately I asked "They resin?" with a quick response from Huck stating "Nope. secret."... hahaha, oh well can't say I didn't try :-) and in any case these look like pure glossy goodness to me, just really interested in what they are for... and just like all things in our scene, now we play the waiting game! More info soon.

"TITANIUM the Robot" from Tony Montalvo @ SDCC
Tony “Titanium” Montalvo, Sculptor of Keithing's Myth Warriors and the Snackz zipper pull line introduces his new creation... "TITANIUM the Robot"!!! He’s the muscle and the heart behind the whole Titanium toyz line, where Tony designs the Toyz, and TITANIUM builds them :-)! He’s the robot with the heart of titanium, which is an unbreakable metal! Tony built TITANIUM the way Frankenstein was built, taking parts from other robots and piecing them together... and it's pretty obvious that Iron Man was an inspiration for this figure! He stands a whopping 12" tall, is all hand casted and painted by Tony “Titanium” Montalvo, and the really cool thing about these is that the eyes and chest plate are glow in the dark. This rad figure will make his debut at SDCC 2011 via ToyQube's booth #4934 in the two colorways that you see above, as well as the one rusty bot to the left!!!!Press[TITANIUM Toyz]

His first take, a monstrous prized diamond, is stowed securely under his black knit cap, and he carries the indispensable tools of his burglar trade – a flashlight and fabric bag. This grey version with pink tongue, 1,500 in all, will be released July 21 for $75.00 (£60 UK; 69.60 € Europe) in Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and specialty retailers worldwide.

It’s night of the living Dunny – so lock your doors and bar the windows, because MAD’s Zombie Robber is on the prowl. Fearsome and foul, with a malevolent mug, elongated tongue and flesh-gnawing teeth, the black-masked Zombie Robber scours the night in search of loot and brains. His first take, a monstrous prized diamond, is stowed securely under his black knit cap, and he carries the indispensable tools of his burglar trade – a flashlight and fabric bag. Super Ninja Plush by Shawnimals
The fun doesn’t stop on Day 2 as Ninjatown creator Shawnimals will be gracing Kidrobot’s Booth 4529 for an super-duper signing for the release of his KR Exclusive Super Ninja plush from 4-6pm. Limited to 50 pieces, this 7-inch cuddily hero will cost $22.99 and will be flying off the shelves. So don’t miss out.

El Bandito Muerto by Jesse Hernandez
At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Jesse Hernandez unveils his outlaw of death – El Bandito Muerto. Fully armed and ominous, this malevolent 8-inch black and grey pistol-packing bandit blends Hernandez’ signature indigenous style with a seriously dark and edgy street vibe. The removable sombrero and sculpted detailed serape lay claim to Bandito’s and Hernandez’ own Mexican roots, but the colossal sculpted sneakers and somber six-shooter are less than subtle clues to this mean muerto’s approach to life and death on the streets. Limited to only 250 pieces at $100 Jesse will be signing from 1-3pm.

Kidrobot KidØlaf 20 by The Beast Brothers
Nothing goes down better after a good pillage than a milkshake! At least, that’s how the newest 8-inch Kidrobot figure sees it. Stepping out from their traditional Mexican roots, the ultra-talented Beast Brothers bring us KidØlaf – the Scandinavian TechnoViking, who, like every plunder-loving brute, “Loves Raves, Milkshakes and Pillaging.” Inspired by the Internet phenomenon and viral video of 2007 (google now), each techno-loving ‘bot features a rakish braided beard and comes with a horned helmet, glow stick, milkshake and trusty battle-axe. The 1 in 6 chase features an alternate colorway, but comes with all the essential Viking tools for sipping sweets and pillaging villages. Available beginning July 21 for $50.00 (£40.10 UK; 46.50 € Europe).
