Saturday Morning Energy… “Wolf Thing Bat Mother” Drops in He-Bat & Skele-Wolf Editions by Joseph Harmon x Toy Art Gallery!
Alright… this one is hitting that perfect sweet spot between retro cartoon chaos and sofubi goodness. Toy Art Gallery is linking up with Joseph Harmon to unleash “Wolf Thing Bat Mother” in what they are calling the "He-Bat" & "Skele-Wolf" editions… and yeah… the name alone already tells you everything you need to know. This release taps straight into that nostalgic Saturday morning cartoon energy… clearly inspired by a certain upcoming big-screen throwback… but flipped through Harmon’s signature weird, gritty lens.
You’ve got two killer colorways to choose from… The Skele-Wolf Edition comes in loud, unapologetic neon… with electric blues, purples, greens, and yellows smashing together in that classic toy shelf eye-melting way. It feels like it walked straight out of a vintage toy aisle from another dimension.
Then there’s the He-Bat Edition… a totally different vibe. More muted flesh tones mixed with bold reds and subtle paint hits… giving it that eerie muscleman, undead monster feel while still keeping things playful. The sculpt itself is where this thing really shines… a mashup of wolf, bat, and straight-up creature feature madness. Chunky proportions, exaggerated features, and just enough detail to keep it interesting without losing that classic sofubi simplicity.
Each figure stands at 5" tall and features articulation at the head and legs… making it a clean, classic format that feels right at home with vintage-inspired pieces while still being super displayable. Produced by Toy Art Gallery with concept and sculpt handled by Joseph Harmon… this one feels like a love letter to bootleg toy culture, Saturday morning cartoons, and all things weird.
Both the He-Bat and Skele-Wolf Editions retail for $55 each and will be available HERE Friday, April 16th at 12PM PST exclusively through Toy Art Gallery. If you’re into that mashup of nostalgia, color, and creature design… don’t sleep on this one… these feel like they’re gonna move quick.
