“Easy Days” Finally Arrive… The First Sculpture from the Easy Days Universe Drops Tomorrow!

Back in February of 2025, I first wrote about a project called Easy Days, a concept from artist Gunnar Kvilhaug that had already been quietly evolving behind the scenes for several years. At the time it felt like a glimpse into something special still forming… and now, after a long journey of development, patience, and community support, the first official sculpture from the Easy Days universe is finally ready to be released.
The project revolves around the idea of creating objects that feel both nostalgic and forward-looking, summarized perfectly by its tagline “Shaped by the past, built for the future.” This first sculpture marks the beginning of what is planned to be a larger universe of releases that will eventually expand beyond sculptures into collectibles, prints, and other creative pieces connected to the Easy Days world.
Standing approximately 11.8" tall and weighing around 4 lbs 6.5 oz, the figure is cast in resin and finished in a clean white to off-white matte finish that highlights the character’s soft, timeless silhouette. The sculpt carries a simple but expressive design language, giving it the kind of quiet personality that feels both modern and nostalgic at the same time.
This inaugural release will be limited to just 25 pieces, with each sculpture signed and numbered, making it a very intimate first entry into the Easy Days series. Pre-orders for the sculpture will open tomorrow, March 11 at 20:00 CET, and those who have signed up through the Easy Days website will receive direct pre-order links when the drop goes live.
Collectors will be able to secure the piece at a pre-order price of 5500 NOK (approximately $510 USD), with the price scheduled to increase when the sculpture becomes available to the public one week later. For those who have been following the journey of Easy Days since its early stages, tomorrow marks the moment when the project officially becomes reality… and for collectors who want to be part of the beginning, this first drop feels like a meaningful place to start.
