A brand new online event aimed at connecting Japanese creators with collectors around the world is about to launch as Creator Toy & Art Discovery 2026 (CTD) makes its debut this month on the AniMeEon platform, offering fans a massive lineup of original art toys, illustrations, collectibles, and lifestyle goods from more than 150 Japanese artists and creators.

The Creator Toy & Art Discovery 2026 event kicks off with a pre-open period beginning Thursday, March 19 at 12:00 p.m. JST and running through March 25 at 11:59 p.m. JST, giving visitors the opportunity to browse products, enter lotteries for select items, and build their wishlists ahead of the official launch. The main event then begins Monday, March 30 at 12:00 p.m. JST and runs through Sunday, April 5 at 11:59 p.m. JST, when collectors will be able to purchase a wide variety of original and limited-edition works directly from participating creators.
The event will feature an impressive range of creators spanning the worlds of art toys, illustration, and designer collectibles, with participating artists including Shirokuma Nanamin, Hikari Shimoda, Ms LUTRA, aoi machi, fukupopoya, Futureman, and HITOMI, alongside many others contributing exclusive pieces created specifically for the CTD marketplace.
Collectors who spend 10,000 yen or more (approximately $67 USD) in a single transaction during the event will also receive a special bonus in the form of three randomly selected CTD original trading cards featuring artwork from participating creators, adding an extra layer of collectible fun to the experience.
