A new project is blending introspection with designer toy culture, as 8 Values introduces VAVA, a series of collectible characters rooted in human values rather than aesthetics alone. Built around the online platform eight_values, the project begins with a simple but thought-provoking premise — instead of labeling personality types, it asks users to explore what they truly value. The test generates a hierarchy based on the principles people prioritize, protect, or are willing to sacrifice for.

Those results are then translated into physical form. Each value is represented as a character known as a VAVA, turning abstract emotional concepts into tangible, collectible figures. The debut collection, titled “Haven,” features 8 core values: Family, Love, Joy, Tenderness, Empathy, Compassion, Generosity, and Belonging.

Each figure carries its own visual identity, environment, and symbolic storytelling — from warm, nostalgic scenes to more introspective and emotional moments — all designed to reflect the feeling behind the value it represents.
