The Painters Show: the art of custom toys... OPENS SATURDAY at Lulubell Toys!!!

The Painters Show: The Art of Custom Toys, curated by Connell Little (@Phuntsy) opens this Saturday, March 3rd at 6pm in the Lulubell Gallery Space in Downtown Mesa! The Painters Show will feature the art of custom sofubi toy painting, highlighting a variety of talented painters from around the globe! Artists include: Akashik Records Toys, Blurble One, Bwana Spoons, Candie Bolton, DrilOne, DskiOne, EvilDave, Grody Shogun, GUUMON, hellopike, Jeremi Rimel, KenthToyWorks, LeeeeeeToy, Lion Chen, lordmasterprince, Mark Nagata, Marvel Okinawa, Nate the Milkman, OBJT, Paul Kaiju, Remjie, Rotten Studios, Secret Demon Services Topheroy, Trash Talk Toys, Tru:Tek, UhOhToys and more!

Selected artists were asked to highlight their custom paint skills by submitting sofubi (Japanese soft vinyl toys) pieces painted by them, but produced by another artist. Artists in this show span the globe, many hailing from the US, Hong Kong, China, Japan, the UK and more! This is a rare opportunity to see many of these artists works in person right here in Arizona! These artists have all pushed the limits of creativity to come up with some of the most original and unique concepts for their works.
