Cote Escriva × Thunder Mate's "Creepy Duck" Coming Today!

Spanish artist Coté Escrivá is well-known for his illustrations that mix aspects and aesthetics from street art, classic cartoons, and tattooing, but designer toy fans probably best recognize his name from the "Twisted Bart" collaboration with Pobber or the "Creepy Mouse" design he did with Thunder Mates. A form of zombified "Deconstructive Pop" similar to the works of Matt Gondek, specifically the "Mickey Exploder" piece, Escrivá's newest outing sees him working with Thunder Mates again, this time tackling the appearance of Disney's Donald Duck and evolving it into "Creepy Duck". Standing roughly 8⅖-inches tall (21½cm), this painted polyresin edition is limited to 200 pieces worldwide, which will be available to pre-order today (March 22nd, 2018) at 6am Pacific time in the Thunder Mates online store. While no price has been announced yet, we assume it'll be inline with the "Creepy Mouse" and thus cost $148 apiece.
** UPDATE ** According to the artist, the price per piece will be $168 when they are made available.
