Year of the Earth Dog Chinese New Year Red Danger Dog Resin is here to help celebrate the Chinese New Year (and the fact that it's not only the Year of the Dog once again, but the Year of the EARTH Dog!), the folks over at Tenacious Toys decided to release a 100% American-made 2.25" tall resin figure of an American dog breed, because that makes perfect sense!
This is a limited-edition red variant of the Tenacious Toys shop mascot, "Danger". Red is an auspicious color for the Chinese, so they had this little dude cast in red and bagged with a festive and totally on-brand header card fashioned after the lucky red envelopes (hóngbāo) handed out this time of year. Molding, casting, finishing and painting services for these figures provided by Dead Hand Toys. Sculpting by Mike NEMO Mendez, based on illustration by Playful Gorilla.
