Retroband × 2000AD × Unbox Industries's "Zombo" Free Comic Book Day Figure!

We'd previously announced that Unbox Industries had enlisted the horrific action figure visionary Aaron Moreno of Retroband Toys to redesign the classic 2000AD character of "Zombo." Not the most popular serial in the series history — one, in fact, that only produced two story arcs — "Zombo" told the tale of a part zombie and part human ghoul creation made in top secret by the government. The above pictured wax sculpt for the figure has been approved by both 2000AD and Moreno, meaning that Unbox is racing to create the pieces in vinyl before Free Comic Book Day (May 2nd, 2016), when the initial colorway was hoped to debut.
