ANNOUNCED: Super7 × Funko's Star Wars Super Shogun: Boba Fett & Shadow Trooper!

Let's do a quick 'history of cool'… In 2010, Super7 releases an officially licensed Super Shogun Stormtrooper (see HERE), a 24-inch tall rendition of the classic Imperial soldier from Star Wars redone in the iconic Jumbo Machinder, complete with wheeled underfeet, shooting hand rocket, and removable blaster accessory. My heart soared and, to this day, it remains one of my favorite pieces released in the last 20 years. Then, in 2011, it was teased that a Boba Fett design in the line would follow, which was confirmed in 2012 (see HERE). Once again, I was thrilled by the idea. Then… nothing. Now, at Toy Fair NY, we finally get treated to not only a finished Super Shogun Boba Fett, but also a Super Shogun Shadow Trooper (aka Shadow Stormtrooper, or Blackhole Stormtrooper)! Newly reminted as collaborative releases with Funko, these will be "about" as limited as the original piece in the line and, we're told, Boba Fett will feature a "working backpack!" Missiles away!
