Mike Die's "Destro" & "Snake Eyes" G.I. Joe Figures for Custom Show!

Mike Die's above pictured pieces, contributions to the previously announced "G.I. Joe Custom Show" at SubUrban Vinyl, are really a smart way to tackle this platform. Since the exhibition consists strictly of customized copies of The Loyal Subjects's G.I. Joe Series 1 figures (meant to still look like G.I. Joe figures no less), Die wisely just painted the pieces simply in the sort of muted tones associated with his work and then spent his real time crafted cloth outfits for "Destro" and "Snake Eyes." The end result is something I wish they could mass produce, as I'd love to have one in my collection.

The "G.I. Joe Custom Show" group exhibition opens on May 31st with a reception from 4-9PM local time and will be on display until June 7th, 2013 at SubUrban Vinyl, 4 Frederick Street, Waldwick, NJ 07463.
Participating artists include: Alison Perez, AVES, Billy Roids, Blazon Brikhaus, Bryan Collins, Cash Cannon, Carson Catlin, ChipSoup, Dave Webb, Dead Hand Toys, DeeTen, Don P, Evilos, Forces of Dorkness, Fuller Designs, Ian Ziobrowski, JFury, JacobJams, Jason Chalker, Jay222, JC Rivera, Joe Scarano, Juan Muniz, Les Schettkoe, Matt A*, Mike Die, Mr. Munk, Nasty Neil, Nati513, NemO, OsirisOrion, Rusted Halo, Shawn Wigs, and Tasha Zimich.
