Full reveal of Huck Gee's "La Muerte De Oro" custom Munny for the Beast Brothers 'Lucha Libre' show at Rotofugi!

Now that the Beast Brothers's "Lucha Libre" show, being held at the Rotofugi Gallery, is underway, we can fully reveal the previously teased custom by Huck Gee! The figure is entitled "La Muerte De Oro" (trans. "The Gold Death"), which makes perfect sense with the kanji for "shi" (死, trans. "death") on the both the forehead of the elephant and the luchador. As an added bonus, we have Gee's original sketch for this piece along with an explanation of his process…
The majority of my concepts begin as very rough sketches. From this, I tend to let them evolve organically as I sculpt, paint and assemble them. Nothing is set in stone.
This 16" x 26" x 19" Mixed Media Sculpture Custom, priced at $6500, has already been spoken for, but many other amazing pieces are still available.

"Lucha Libre!," curated by The Beast Brothers, is on display through October 28th, 2012 at the Rotofugi Gallery, 2780 N Lincoln Ave., Chicago, IL 60614.
Participating artists include: The Beast Brothers, Angry Woebots, Brandt Peters & Kathie Olivas, BurunDANGA, Chris Ryniak, Eric Merrill, Huck Gee, Jime Litwalk, Joe Capobianco, J★RYU, Junko Mizuno, Kronk, Michael Motorcycle, Patrick Comolo, Phil Young, Sara Antoinette Martin, Scribe & Alisa, Mr. Shane Jessup, Shawnimals, Sket One, Sourbones, TADO and Tim Tsui.
