Daniel Fleres' custom "Ugly Swanicorn" for Dragatomi's "Tales" show!

The poor "Ugly Swanicorn"… accidentally raised by ducks, it thought itself to be a gargantuan mutant beast that nobody could ever love. The 7-inch tall resin creature comes from the bestiary of Daniel Fleres, who — as a trained Swanicorn wrangler and breeder — was slowly able to convince this beautiful beast that he wasn't an ugly duckling, rather a gorgeous swanicorn; which is also, of course, why the traumatized creature allows folks to remove it's paper bag from time to time!

"Tales" opens tonight (August 11th) and runs through September 1st, 2012 at Dragatomi, 2317 J St., Sacramento, CA 95816. The "Ugly Swanicorn" costs $300 and can be purchased online HERE.
