Gary Baseman's "Vicious" to open with new paintings & drawings!

Gary Baseman is having a new solo show opening in Milan, Italy later this week. Entitled "Vicious," this show will feature 15 new paintings on canvas, 7 on old book covers, and 8 illustrations on pages from out-dated medical textbooks… that's 30 new works, folks! While we sadly can't make it to the opening, we were able to locate some great behind-the-scene, work-in-progress teaser pics of Baseman working in his studio on pieces for the show.

"Vicious" opens on April 5th and runs through May 12th at the Antonio Colombo Art Contemporanea, via Solferino 44 20121 Milan, Italy.
