The making of "Dead Ben" - Part 6 of 6... the full reveal and prototype sample at SDCC 2010

Well we have been showcasing the making of this figure over the past few weeks, and now it has all come to a head as the full reveal is among us. Matt Walker of Dead Presidents Designs and Bob Conge of Plaseebo will debut the prototype of their collaboration project, the "Dead Ben" figure at the SDCC 2010. Matt will display the prototype at SDCC on Thursday from 11am – 2pm at the Strange Co. booth #4629 and again on Friday 10am – 12pm at the Rotofugi booth #5313. Bob designed and sculpted the figure based on a bust of Ben Franklin that Matt sent to him. While the prototype was painted by Bob as a sample, the editions will carry the magical color sprays from Matt. The 1st edition of Dead Ben is slated for a 4th quarter 2010 release.
