Color Ink Book bringing the heat for SDCC 2010

Color Ink Book produced by The Brothers Washburn have some amazing things planned for this years SDCC 2010, so much that it's almost impossible to cover it all in one post... but I will try my best :-) First up on the chopping block is their eighth volume of Color Ink Book, which coincidentally celebrates 2 years of publishing, and to ring in the new issue they will be releasing five SDCC exclusive covers all of which are very limited... and who did they line up, some heavy hitters including: Alex Pardee (75 issues), Andrew Bell (50 issues), Femke Hiemstra, (50 issues) Travis Lampe (50 issues) and Workhorse (50 issues). All of which have their very onwn distinct style and flavor making it almost impossible to only want one!

But wait there is more... the next iteration of EPIC artist Skinner's toys will be available including the Lurker "red" eye colorway which is limited to 50 pieces, and the new Lurker "Wolf" also limited to 50 pieces, which features glow in the dark mouth and eyes. These figures were sculpted and hand cast and painted by David Arshawsky (TMNT, Skeleton Warriors) and a tee shirt designed by Femke Hiemstra.

They will also be hosting a number of signings at their booth #5569 by the following artists Alex Pardee, Andrew Bell, Travis Lampe, Skinner as well as a few to be announced. There will also be a prototype of their next toy release by Travis Lampe a 12 inch plush of his vision of Rayola.

They are also partnering with the San Diego Blood Bank and 3 amazing artists for 3 awesome and one of a kind items for auction. The artists in question are Alex Pardee, Skinner and Tado (Mike and Katie). They have graciously donated art work which they have in turn put on surfboards. Its San Diego right? These one of a kind boards will on display at SDCC 2010 and auctioned off to benefit the San Diego Blood Bank!
