The designer toy scene was a buzz at last years
Toy Fair as
Kidrobot announced they had acquired the license to create the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!! All four heroes in a half shell:
Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo are now up for grabs via the
Kidrobot site as well as
Shredder and
Splinter! This first release is dubbed "Ooze Action" as the figures feature GID splattered mutagen stains! Another thing to note is the updated packaging (seen to the left)... catering to the mass market big box stores with blister pack and card backing as well as a hole punch to hang from a peg! Kidrobot mentions that "
It's the TURTLE POWER SUPER SUMMER" where all summer long they will be releasing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!! The mini figure Ooze Action assortment is NOW available, like mentioned above, and coming soon will be Keychains, The Mini Series, 7" figures as well as apparel! Get ready to kick some serious shell!!!
