Review/Unboxing - Everything Sucks… Except This Milo Vinyl Figure from Encore Toy Co.

There are some releases that just hit different… and the Milo from DESCENDENTS 7" Vinyl Figure from Encore Toy Co. is absolutely one of them. As a longtime fan of the pivotal punk band DESCENDENTS, getting to crack into this figure on YouTube was already going to be rad, but the version they sent over took things to a whole other level. This was the signed header card edition… and yeah, I was seriously flabbergasted.

The figure itself brings Milo to life in that clean black, white, and gray style that fits the character perfectly. Standing 7" tall, this vinyl figure has that unmistakable Milo look with the square glasses, straight-faced expression, short-sleeve shirt, tie, shorts, and classic nerd-punk attitude. It is simple, bold, and totally shelf-worthy.

What makes this release even cooler is the stack of accessories packed in with it. The figure comes with seven accessories inspired by the Everything Sucks album artwork and the world of DESCENDENTS… including: a newspaper, coffee cup, plunger, record, two science beakers, and a mini version of the Everything Sucks album cover. It is caffeinated, nerdy, punk, and loaded with the kind of tiny details fans are going to appreciate.

The figure concept and sculpt were handled by Pasa, while the header card art was created by Chris Shary, whose artwork has become such a recognizable part of DESCENDENTS history. Encore Toy Co. also sent over a sticker pack and a rad Milo figure T-shirt featuring exclusive artwork by Chris Shary, which made the whole package feel even more special.

The signed edition includes a bonus header card signed by the band, and that is the piece that really pushed this into collector grail territory. The regular 7" figure is available for $75, the blank white 7" Milo figure is $70, and the signed edition is $160 while supplies last. For fans of DESCENDENTS, punk rock collectibles, designer toys, or music merch that actually feels thoughtful, this one is a no-brainer.
