A Massive Piece of Art Toy History… VISEone’s “CLOSER Charity Qee” Surfaces for Collectors

Now this… this is one of those pieces you don’t see come up often. Created back in 2013, the "CLOSER" Charity Qee by VISEone is a true one-off moment in designer toy history… a large-scale custom that blends urban art sensibilities with raw sculptural presence. Produced for a special charity event hosted by CLOSER Magazine, only six of these Qees were ever made… instantly putting this piece into grail territory for serious collectors.
The concept hits hard and simple… a seated Qee figure submerged inside a metal bucket, completely engulfed in thick, glossy paint drips. That signature VISEone aesthetic is on full display here… heavy, expressive flow… almost like the piece is melting in real time. It’s messy, intentional, and visually striking from every angle.

And then there’s the scale… This isn’t your standard shelf piece. Standing at roughly 27.5" tall and measuring about 13.75" wide and deep, with a hefty ~77 lbs of weight behind it… this thing commands space. It’s more sculpture than toy… the kind of centerpiece that instantly takes over a room.
Over time, the metal bucket has developed a natural oxidation… giving it that gritty, lived-in patina that actually adds to the overall vibe. It contrasts perfectly with the still-vibrant, high-gloss pink finish of the Qee itself… which remains in great shape aside from minor age-related imperfections.
The backstory makes it even better… Originally auctioned through WESTWING for €1,500, the piece was part of a charitable initiative supporting a children’s home through the Umckaloabo Foundation in Lesotho, Africa. Several pieces from the series were signed by well-known German public figures… further cementing its cultural footprint beyond just the toy scene. And now… it’s back.
This particular Qee is being offered from a private collector who’s relocating and needs to part with it… with a starting bid of €500 (shipping not included, and will need to be coordinated directly with the owner). If you’re into large-scale customs, graffiti-inspired aesthetics, or rare charity pieces with a story behind them… this is one of those opportunities that doesn’t come around twice. Interested collectors can reach out via me@viseone.com to connect directly with the current owner.
