Huck Gee Returns with “The Long Year” — Four Seasons of Grief Told Through Raku!
It’s been almost a decade since Huck Gee dropped a new print set... but the wait is finally over. This Friday (TODAY - October 17th, 2025), Huck is releasing The Long Year — a stunning four-print journey through the emotional landscape of grief, told through the eyes of his iconic character, Raku.
Huck’s work has always carried pieces of his own story, and this one feels especially personal. Raku — the adventurous, mischievous spirit we’ve come to know — takes us through Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer... a symbolic passage through loss, memory, and renewal. Each piece feels like a quiet reflection on time passing and healing, and man, it hits deep.
Each print measures 10x14", printed with archival inks on matte cotton fine art paper. Signed, numbered, and limited to just 110 sets. They’re available individually for $75 each or as a full four-print set for $250.
Available this Friday, October 17th at Noon PDT over at www.HuckGee.com - I think this release is seriously beautiful — powerful storytelling meets top-tier craftsmanship. How rad is it to see Huck back with something this heartfelt... and is this the start of something new, maybe some more figure releases?!
