WHAT'S NEW

Edward Gorey’s Dracula Rises Again… as a Limited-Edition Art Toy!

The dark, gothic charm of Edward Gorey is stepping off the page and into 3D form with a brand-new art toy collaboration from Collectable Cities. The studio’s latest Kickstarter brings Gorey’s hauntingly elegant Dracula to life — and fans are loving it! The campaign hit over 60% funding in its first 24 hours, with stretch goals teasing even more macabre delights.
This collectible figure perfectly captures Gorey’s eerie whimsy — Dracula stands poised with his cape spread wide like bat wings, complete with those signature melancholic eyes and an exaggerated, off-kilter stance. Every fold, every crosshatch pays homage to Gorey’s pen-and-ink mastery. The figure even comes packaged in a tomb-shaped box with a hand-numbered collector’s card for that extra spooky flair.
If the campaign reaches its stretch goal, collectors will also get a figure of Gorey himself — fur coat, cat companion, and all! Alongside the figures, Collectable Cities is releasing a key ring collection featuring characters like The Fantod, Gorey’s whimsical cats, and of course, Dracula (complete with a tiny bat charm). Each PVC figure is hand-finished with that same matte, museum-quality touch the studio is known for. Dracula stands 16x10cm tall, while Gorey measures 5x10cm and comes with a cat and book accessory. Key rings range from 6–7cm tall and are finished in black-nickel, presented on premium backing cards.
This officially licensed collaboration with the Edward Gorey Charitable Trust continues Gorey’s legacy of supporting animal welfare — helping the creatures he loved most: cats, bats, and all things strange and wonderful. Available now via Kickstarter... I think this design is seriously cool... the moody, offbeat energy of Gorey with that modern collectible polish is just too perfect. How cool is this?!?!
