Artist and designer
Candie Bolton's "Kitsura" — a depiction of the
Kitsune (狐), or fox from Japanese folklore — has been hand-painted in a micro edition by Mark Nagata of
Max Toy Company, who also produced the figure. Standing roughly 3-inches tall, the Japanese vinyl figures are made from a sculpt by
PICOPICO and have two points of articulation (waist and tail). From what we can tell, Nagata painted at least a dozen pieces in these colors and they will be available for sale shortly after Christmas day in the
Max Toy Company store.
