WHAT'S NEW

H.P. Lovecraft's The Great Cthulhu & minions as sofubi figures courtesy of Velocitron for Clutter's "Total Atomic Meltdown" exhibition!

Velocitron's interpretation of the "Cthulhu," the above left pictured Great Old One, looks like a sculptural rendition of a sketched nightmare straight out of author H.P. Lovecraft's dream journal. Debuted at Japan's Wonder Festival earlier this year, this one-off hand-painted version of the figure, cast in Japanese vinyl (sofubi), has been created for the previously announced "Total Atomic Meltdown" at The Clutter Gallery. But what would any Eldritch entity be without their faithful followers? Velocitron also has contributed the below pictured one-off hand-painted "cheap dudes," which probably means a price of under $25 apiece! Those interested in trying to add these to their collection should join the Clutter Gallery Preview List for first dibs on exhibition works!

"Total Atomic Meltdown," a group art toy exhibition of neo-kaiju and other strange creations, will open on Saturday, March 8th with a reception from 6-9PM local time and be on display April 4th, 2014 at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
Participating artists include: Blurble, Bob Conge/Plaseebo, Brent Nolasco, Candie Bolton, Cop A Squat Toys, D-LuX, Frank Mysterio, Grumble Toy, GUUMON, InstincToys, Josh Herbolsheimer, LiLjapan, Maneki Nekro, Mark Nagata of Max Toy Company, Michael Nordstrom (of Garamania), Mr. Krotpong, Nebulon5, RESTORE, Splurrt, Sunguts, Uamou, and Velocitron.
