"Hog" & "Slot"... new platform figures from IDBarn

I was contacted recently by artist and industrial designer Coll Snowball, about a new project that he has started because of his love for designer toys... and above is the result! Introducing "Hog" a brand new platform figure that draws inspiration from the many forms that we have seen before. Although this shares some similarities to the BIC Buddy, Coll mentions that he had not seen/studied this before and that he has been developing him through sketching/illustrating so closely and he’s kind of developed as a stronger Yorkshire Northern version of the Munny. I like the facial structure much better, where is has the ears and slanted sides of the head. The body is different as well, giving an artists a more angular approach... and honestly the more I look at the figure above, the more I like it.

He also has another figure int he works titled "Slot" (that winged creature above) and this duo will be coming soon on pre-release to Indiegogo. A limited run of 500 ‘Howler’ figures will be available in August. The Hog stands a proud 5” and the Slot Angel at 2”. They come as a package and will also be DIY versions known as the ‘Blanky’ all of which come in the presentation case with artwork and stickers to practice the designs before committing to the toys.
