No, this isn't a behind-the-scenes pic from the new Nightmare on Elm Street sequel, rather this frightmare was bred in the mind's eye of our youth… a new 8" Mickey Mouse for the Play Imaginative custom showcase. Executed by the deft hands of Christopher Moore aka We Become Monsters, this armless horror is the tinted body of the vinyl platform with the face cut away, allowing the famed mouse to show off his true face…

While the body does have some intricate detailing work (just look at those legs), all attention is drawn to the spooktakular sculpt Moore constructed for "Swamp Dweller Mickey"'s face. The dead eyes, accentuated by the menacing brow lines; the skeletal nose, reminiscent of that from a bat; and the disturbing mouth, lower lip cracked & eroded while the upper teeth are revealed in all their misshapen glory. I've heard rumor that if you stare into a mirror and say Mickey five times, this is the beast you accidentally summon…
