Mondo to release Lucio Fulci's The Beyond soundtrack on vinyl!

The above image is for Ken Taylor's screenprints that Mondo released last year, but it seemed an apropos image to attach for the announcement of Mondo releasing the soundtrack to the classic Lucio Fulci film on a vinyl LP. The Beyond's score was by Fabio Frizzi, who is a horror film music legend (he did the composition of Fulci's Zombi 2, aka Zombie), and has been remastered for vinyl by experimental metal & noise guitarist James Plotkin. This record will come packaged in a gatefold sleeve designed by Mondo art director Rob Jones and limited to 1500 copies pressed on 180g vinyl, 500 of which will be on transparent turquoise instead of the standard black. Set to be released on May 22nd, this will be one to watch for!
