The Final Countdown to Pictoplasma NYC!!!

Set as the perfect prelude to New York’s Illustration Week, the Pictoplasma Conference invites a diverse audience of graphic designers, illustrators, animation filmmakers and producers, fine and urban artists and character connoisseurs of all shades to gather under one roof and dive deep into theworld of character-related art and design. Accompanying the marathon of lectures and discussions, two feature-length 'Characters in Motion' screenings will be showcasing a selected mix of new and outstanding character-driven animation, motion graphics, music videos and shorts.

New York, did you get your ticket to the world's leading conference on contemporary character design that is happening in our town? In one week, Pictoplasma is taking over the Parsons New School for Design. The conference hailing from Berlin focuses on contemporary character design and brings together creative hotness in the realms of animation, graphic design, toys and illustration. We gave you guys the DL here but we have some updates on all the action! Two days of artist talks and film screenings will begin in an explosion of pink. That's right, our new Brooklyn resident, Buff Monster is getting this party started. Oooh, I wonder what he has in store for us? Former animation director of South Park, Ryan Quincy will be there to tell all about his furry creatures.
