"Circuitous Psnail" resin from Neon Monster

Neon Monster’s first piece of resin art debuted at Art Basel, and they're already hoping the snail trail leads to more. The "Circuitous Psnail" is based on art by the amazing Reuben Rude and fabricated by multi-talented Julie B of Pretty in Plastic. Rumor around town is that Buff Monster even lent a hand in the making of a few of these. The liquid-like translucent resin really lights up as you can see from the photos above. They've got 5 different colors in an edition of 10 pieces each. Each figure is about 12" (yeah... HUGE) and carries a significant weight. These can be purchased for $600 a piece, a hefty price tag attached to an magnificent, hefty, foot long resin snail... for the true art/snail collector!
