Nap Time for the Undead! Morimei’s Zombcats Return for Lying Cats Series 2!

Apparently, being undead is exhausting! The wonderfully weird world of Morimei (@morimeiworks) is growing again with Zombcats Story: Lying Cats Blind Box Series 2, a fresh collection of creepy-cute feline figures that look perfectly content to spend the afterlife lounging around. Equal parts adorable and slightly unsettling, these little cats have the kind of personality that makes you want to line them all up across your desk, bookshelf, or toy display. And with the blind-box format adding a little mystery to every unboxing, there's plenty of reason for cat lovers and designer-toy collectors alike to take notice.

Series 2 features six regular designs and one secret figure, all produced in soft vinyl and measuring approximately 6.5cm. The figures are packaged randomly, so collectors won't know which sleepy little creature they've received until they open the box.

Preorders are currently available through Strangecat Toys, with individual blind boxes priced at $24 each. Full cases of six are also listed as an option, but a case should not be assumed to guarantee the secret figure. The retailer estimates orders will ship by the end of December 2026.

With limited production quantities noted by the retailer, collectors looking to add more undead cuteness to their shelves might want to get their preorders sorted early. Take a look at the full Zombcats Series 2 listing and decide whether you're feeling lucky enough to chase that secret cat. These little guys may be lying down, but they're definitely not playing dead!
