Marwan Shahin’s iconic 9 Lives artwork has officially made the jump into sculptural form with the release of 9 Lives: Instinct Sculpture (Alabaster) from Shahin Studios. First debuted at DesignerCon Pasadena 2026, this new Designer Con Exclusive colorway brings Bastet back for her latest, last, and most lavish life.
Built over nine lifetimes, she collects everything that holds power, wealth, symbols, protection, and status. Nothing is lost. Everything accumulates. Heavy in gold and settled in comfort, she sits in full possession. Drawn from Marwan Shahin’s instantly recognizable 9 Lives artwork, this piece turns instinct into identity, translating the mythology, luxury, and layered symbolism of the original art into a bold 3D collector piece.
The Alabaster edition features a clean white hand-painted resin body covered in ornate gold accents, from the elaborate collar and jewelry to the tiny sculpted details worked throughout the piece. The contrast between the soft alabaster finish, metallic gold, pink accents, and expressive feline attitude gives this release a really refined presence while still keeping that unmistakable Shahin edge.
Produced by
Shahin Studios in Los Angeles, the sculpture stands 8" H × 4.5" W × 6" D and is limited to just 29 pieces. Each one comes with a signed, gold foil stamped COA, custom silkscreened box with foam lining, and cotton handling gloves.
