Opening on the 13th of August (to September 2nd) at Clutter Gallery (163 Main St, Beacon, NY 12508, USA). Doktor A's first solo show on the East coast in almost a decade. “The Future Ain’t What it Used to Be.” A retro-futuristic look back at how the present doesn’t quite deliver on the promises of the past. A tongue in cheek view of our own world through mechanical eyes from an alternative history. Oh, and Dok sent over a unique reveal of one of the pieces in the show, just for us: "Estus Chesterfield" - An armchair critic! This is a Customized Vintage “Bravestar” Toy. (With “Walking” Action) that measures 13.5” X 7.5” X 5.5” - so awesome!

In part this show represents Dok's reaction to world events over the last few years. The Doktor will be debuting some significant new original pieces. As well as a selection of smaller Mechtorian creations, resin multiples, customized toys and graphic artworks. You can join the previews list HERE to to get access to all available pieces!
