WHAT'S NEW

REVEALED: James Jean × Staple Pigeon's "Washizu" Piece!

We'd previously teased that the ever-impressive James Jean was collaborating with his good friend jeffstaple — founder & owner of Staple (aka Staple Pigeon) — to celebrate the brand's 20th anniversary, but now we can more properly see the design celebrating the mainstay of street culture and design. Inspired by the ultimate moments of Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood, when General Washizu's troops turn on him, firing a beautifully choreographed barrage of arrows at him, this art toy is apropriately titled "Washizu". Depicting a pigeon-man frozen mid-stride, arrows piercing his form, this piece's densely layered imagery embodies "persistence over adversity, a memory of the slings and arrows anyone is likely to face over the course of 20 years." Produced in PVC by Mighty Jaxx, this fantastic piece will be available on March 4th at 8am Pacific time until March 5th, 2017 at 7:59am Pacific time, the number produced limited to the orders received during that one day period.
