RESTORE's "Neo Japan Hisui" & "Orihalkong Meat" at Amazing Model Expo 2016!

Restore have announced new versions of two figures, both exclusive to Osaka, Japan's Amazing Model Expo 2016 taking place on August 13th. The roughly 8½-inch tall "Neo Japan Sfb" returns in the above-pictured "Hisui" edition, named after the Japanese word for "Jade" (翡翠). Wearing his Oni-hide armor and carrying a Hocho (Japanese knife) accessory, this painted vinyl work will be ¥8000 (approx. $78). The second piece, the below-pictured "Iron Meat Sfb" in the "Orihalkong" edition, is said to be "ancient weapons of the mystery that had been sealed in the outback of the jungle," only recently "excavated" near a "pile of King Kong bone[s]!" This 8⅗-inch tall work will be ¥9000 (approx. $88), both limited editions available from PopSoda's Booth and sold by lottery. Lottery tickets will be distributed — in-person only! — from 10am until noon, with those chosen to purchase the pieces announced at 1pm. Good luck to those able to attend!
