Teodoru Badiu’s “Kranyus” Resin Art Collectible Figure… Coming Soon?!?

While revisiting Depression era cartoons and elevating them to pop art has become a bit commonplace, artist Teodoru Badiu has been doing it for years and, most importantly, he really imbues his personal style distinctively into the retro feel. Titled “Kranyus,” this 8-inch tall figure is the newest creation from Badiu and one that he is resin casting himself. "I have not decided yet where this project will lead," the artist commented regarding his art collectible. Pictured above is the red nose option, which implies other colors will be available… an aspect that probably can be mimicked in the bone ears. Truly fantastic, we can't wait to see more!
