WHAT'S NEW

*Review* Luke Chueh x Munky King - "OG" edition 'Bit*h' figure!

Luke Chueh and Munky King have teamed up once again for a brand new release of Luke's "Bit*h" figure... this original colorway "OG" stays true to Luke's 2007 painting with hand-sprayed gradients on grey wolves and a white sheep fleece. The 3-piece set allows interchangeability between the other editions to maximize your collecting pleasure. Releasing through Munky King TODAY, April 26th, this edition is limited to 500 pieces and will retail for $69 a pop.. grab the figure HERE! But wait, there's more... also up for grabs will be a special collectors set that will include the figure, a limited edition 8"x10" archival giclee print, along with the box being signed and embellished by Luke Chueh himself... grab the set HERE!

As you can see from the above photos, the figure comes in 3-pieces... the bottom dog, the sheep overlay, and the top dog... all f which interlock pretty seamlessly to form the entire figure. It stands about 6" tall and is about 6" long and the only point of articulation is the top dog's tail... so you can pose it depending on how "happy" he seems :-) The sheep overlay has the Lucke Chueh and Munky King logos stamped on the underside... that are hidden from view once place on the bottom dog... a nice way to call out who the figures created/produced by without being an eyesore. This figure is not for everyone... as are most of Chue's paintings/figures as they delve into the more mature of circumstances... but for those that find this not particularly appealing, there are those out there who think this is hilarious... where do you stand?

From a production standpoint, the figure looks really clean, and the paint application is spot on. We really like this "OG" version as it is the most realistic when it comes to the colors... it's really great! No matter what your stance is on this figure... if it's displayed, be ready to have it become the talking point of your collection for those who aren't in the know... in fact, display this at work on your desk (be sure it won't get you fired) and prepare for some interesting comments :-) All in all, the figure is really well done, and is a true/direct reinterpretation of Chueh's 2D painted work from year ago... pick one up HERE today!
