David Stevenson's "Welcome to the Jungle" custom Flawtoys's "Stranger" for ToyHeist!

While I personally can't hear the phrase "Welcome to the Jungle" without thinking of Guns 'N Roses, David Stevenson attempts to retake the name by making a custom Flawtoys's Stranger figure named thusly. This piece, Stevenson's contribution to the previously announced "ToyHeist" group show, is an intricately painted jungle scene with tons of cartoonish eyes peeping out, akin to something from the cover of a children's book. While lacking depth in design, those pristine lines and solid colors are outstandingly done!

"ToyHeist" will open on Friday, November 29th with a reception from 6-9PM local time and remain on display until December 27th, 2013 at the Concrete Gallery, Spuistraat 250, 1012 VW Amsterdam.
