Maurice Sendak Retrospective brings the 'Wild Things' to NYC!

Beloved author & illustrator Maurice Sendak will have a post-humorous retrospective show at the AFA Gallery in New York City. Opening the day before what would have been the seminal creator's 84th Birthday, the collection will include nearly 50 works (published pieces, conception art, etc.) as well as the bronze "Wild Thing" sculpture.

The Maurice Sendak Retrospective will open on Saturday, June 9th and run through Labor Day at the AFA Gallery, 54 Greene St., New York, NY 10013.
