"Toki Sode Dako: Ryu" custom Dragon kite by Ritzy Periwinkle

Gearing up for the upcoming "Year of the Dragon" show this weekend at Dragatomi in Sacramento, Los Angeles based artist Ritzy Periwinkle shares with us today her rad submission titled "Toki Sode Dako: Ryu"! Seeing as this show was and open platform show, Ritzy thought outta the box and actually customized a Japanese Kite Kit which was originally designed by Kite master, Mikio Toki. Ritzy tells us that she used both regular and metallic acrylics on this functional kite that comes with kite line and winder to let her roam the windy sky. What an awesome idea, and how cool did this turn out!!! Something outta the ordinary... and I like it!!!
