Artist Josh "f+" Pearce has been working on an original figure for quite some time now, and you all may know Josh for his AMAZING custom one-off figures... well he is now trying to take the next step and mass produce his new figure titled "The Corrupter" with the help from YOU via Kickstarter. This project however is a bit different as Josh is not raising money to have this sent to a factory to produce multiples, Josh is raising money to cover the cost of materiel as he is going to hand-cast and hand-paint each of these... giving you the opportunity to own a distinct/affordable piece of art from Josh!
HERE now and pledge some money! Oh, and if you are coming to Designer-Con on November 5th... look for this figure at the SpankyStokes.com booth along with tons of other customs from Josh!!!
One thing that really stands out to me is how unique they are, and you can just tell that they are made by designers just by looking at the packaging and the clean unified look! They also have an individuality about them, yet hold well together as a group... as you can see in the above photo... what a fun set to own!
In this video above, Sam Parducho models the Black Buddha in Brooklyn... and do note that the sound in the video is coming from the speaker... some fantastic quality! The figure is made of vinyl and has 3 points of articulation and enclosed in this beast is the inner workings of some great sound! It comes with a mini Jack cable, USB adapter, 2.5 Hour rechargeable Lithium Battery, ON and OFF Switch, LED lights... along with some serious style!
DayWalker' version! This is s new medium he used where it's not GID... it only glows under the Sunlight, at normal color it's frosty clear, when it gets the Sunlight it will glow and change to the color blue! This is an edition of 50 pieces and will retail for $65 each! There are also some custom Androids inspired by the Super Mario's Bullet Bill... plus other goodies, so be sure to visit booth #880 to pick these up!
