"What Came Before Will Come Again" custom Ghost Girl from Brent Nolasco & J★RYU

I told you the customs were going to roll in... and in this customs particular case it's something that you don't see very often in custom vinyl shows... what exactly am I talking about, well, a collab between two artists on one piece, and that is what Brent Nolasco and J★RYU did for the "Ghost in the Machine" custom Ghost Girl show at MPH opening tomorrow May 13th, 2011! This piece titled "What Came Before Will Come Again" is a representation of life and death as the small white sculpted 'Ghost Girl' is reaching out to give the larger creature a seed, to continue the life cycle. J★RYU sculpted this entire piece using the OG vinyl figure for the skull head and adding additional elements onto it... once completed with the sculpt he shipped it up to Brent where he did his part by painting it up in all kinds of wonderful washed out colors... really bringing life to this incredibly intricate custom. One thing that really catches my eye is the water pool surrounding the figures that J★RYU created using clear resin... amazing effect. Rumor has it that if you like this piece, these two artists have something planned for this upcoming SDCC 2011.
